CUSTOMS & DUTIES

Know what is included.
Before you order.

Import costs depend on the destination, product classification, declared value and trade term. The written quotation is the final source for what is included.

Are duties and taxes included?

Not unless the written quotation expressly lists them. Website reference prices are normally in USD and based on EXW China. Freight, customs clearance, duty, tax, brokerage and destination charges are separate unless confirmed in writing.

EXW China

The buyer or its forwarder collects the goods from the agreed production location and manages export arrangements, international freight, import clearance and all related costs unless the quotation adds specific services.

DAP / delivered without import charges

Delivery is arranged to the named destination, but the recipient normally pays import duties, taxes, brokerage and customs-related charges and is responsible for import clearance.

Supported DDP

Where available and expressly quoted, DDP may include specified freight, clearance, duties and taxes to the named destination. Services and exclusions will be listed on the written quotation. DDP availability depends on destination, product and shipment method.

Importer information and re-assessment

The customer must provide accurate consignee, tax and importer information when required. Customs authorities may reclassify, inspect or reassess a shipment. Charges not expressly included in the quotation remain the customer’s responsibility.

Final confirmation

Ask for a delivered quote if you need a single landed estimate. The signed quotation or order confirmation overrides general website examples.
