REFUND & CANCELLATION

Custom production,
clear approval points.

Custom goods are made to an approved specification and cannot be handled like ordinary retail returns. This policy explains the practical rules.

Before production starts

A cancellation request must be made in writing. Before sampling, material purchasing, printing or production begins, we will review whether unused payments can be returned after deducting completed work, non-refundable payment costs and committed supplier expenses.

After sampling or production starts

Sample fees, artwork or setup work, purchased materials and completed production are not refundable. If an order is stopped, the customer remains responsible for costs already incurred and any specially purchased or produced goods.

Change of mind

Approved custom products generally cannot be returned or refunded because the customer changes their mind, selects the wrong specification, no longer needs the goods or provided incorrect artwork, address or instructions.

Incorrect, defective or damaged goods

If goods materially differ from the approved written specification, contain a manufacturing defect or arrive damaged, contact hello@makersora.com within 7 calendar days of delivery. Include the order number, carton labels, quantities affected and clear photos or video. Do not dispose of goods or packaging until the review is complete.

Available remedies

After review, an appropriate remedy may be repair, replacement, re-production, credit or refund for the verified affected quantity. Minor colour, size, fabric and production tolerances disclosed in the quotation or approved sample are not defects.

Refund method and excluded costs

Approved refunds are normally returned through the original payment method where possible. Express charges, bank fees, duties, taxes, brokerage and freight are not refundable unless they resulted directly from a verified MakerSora error and are included in the agreed remedy.
